I am running for Oconee County Council  District 3 to put people before politics.  I believe in honesty and transparency, even when the truth may be difficult to hear.  I am committed to listening to all voices and making thoughtful  decisions that serve the best interests of the citizens of Oconee County.  For too long, our current council has been shaped by the same party affiliations, social circles, and shared perspectives.  As a result, outside viewpoints are often overlooked.  I am running to bring fresh ideas, encourage open dialogue, and ensure that every voice in our community is heard.

Meet Lee

I have proudly called Oconee County home for 35 years.  I hold an engineering degree from Southern technical Institute and an MBA from Southern Wesleyan University.  I was employed for 37 years by Duke Energy, primarily at the Oconee Nuclear Station, where I worked as a technical specialist and IT specialist in cyber security.  My wife, Wanda, is a lifelong resident of South Carolina,  and together we are proud to call this community home.  We have been blessed with five children, twelve grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
